Tyvek would work well on the center and you can cut it with a cutting machine. It is thin and flexible and can be colored. I buy large tyvek envelopes and take them apart so they lay flat and use them on my cutting machine. The material is thin and has to adhere to the mat really well to be cut. You will have to play around with the force and speed to find what works with tyvek. Thanks for the video

HEY JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOUR CF TUTORIAL DOESNT WORK THAT'S NOT A GOOD THING
The seller needs to offer the template for free as I just purchased it and it is not sizable, and doesn't include the center shape to glue the petals to. The template comes in one size and is tiny and therefore useless. There are much better templates online including Sweet Red Poppy and Pearl Paper Flowers!
This is resizable. If you are using Cricut, design space will resize files. There are instructions in the tutorial on my website for the correct size of the file. The link for the written tutorial is in the file you purchased.
I was able to resize to the size she specified in the tutorial and it came out beautiful! This was my very first ever paper flower and I love how it came out. I'm going go make a bunch of them for centerpieces for a grad party! 🙂
